2017 – BigPicture: Natural World Photography 2017, San Francisco
Selected for the final round of the “BigPicture: Natural World Photography” competition by the California Academy of Sciences, San Francisco. Award-winning wildlife photographer Suzi Eszterhas chaired the competition’s panel of esteemed judges for a fourth year, joined by international photo editors Kathy Moran (National Geographic), Melissa Groo (Audubon and Outdoor Photographer), Sophie Stafford (formerly of BBC Wildlife), and award-winning nature and conservation photographers James Balog, Pete Oxford, plus founder and director of Minden Pictures, Larry Minden.\n\nThe photo will be featured in the exhibition at the Academy from July 28 – October 29, 2017. 2017 – Featured photographer in “Outdoor Photographer of the Year”, London
Out of more than 17,000 images entered from 50 countries around the world, 150 images made it into the book “Outdoor Photographer of the Year – Portfolio II.” My entry from Greenland is one of them. The book will be released on 18th March and will be available online and in retail outlets.
